Winter Area Events

Come stay at the Riverwind Inn and chase the winter Blahs away. Much to do in the surrounding areas this time of year.  Chester is holding its annual Winter Carnivale on Sunday, Feb. 19th. Event includes chili cook-off, tractor parade, ice carving competition and all stores and galleries are open.  The eagle are back on the CT River. Winter Events

This year Eaglewatch 2012 kicks off Feb. 3 - March 11.  Many events are taking place including Eagle Boat Tours and Eagle Exhibitions.  Check out the Connecticut River Museum's website for more information, www.ctrivermuseum.org.  
Don't forget to book your room early for President's Weekend.  We fill up fast so make plans early to get your perfect room.  A two night minimum is required since it is a holiday weekend.
